Terra Petit Verdot Edición Limitada 2022 – a single-varietal Petit Verdot from Bukovsko brdo near Negotin, aged 24 months in barrique. Limited edition. Petit Verdot is considered the most exotic of all grape varieties. Even as a small part of a blend it marks the wine with its deep, rich colour. With Terra, Traško shows what the variety can do on its own: the continental climate of Negotinska Krajina in the Kamenac site and carefully measured barrel ageing bring out a clear expression of terroir. Tasting notes. Very dark in the glass, red-violet to ruby. On the nose, intense aromas of candied fruit, freshly roasted coffee, mild tobacco, caramel and crisp bread crust. Silky on the palate, with a pleasant structure, fine-grained tannins, plenty of juiciness and a long finish.
