Character & enjoyment

In the Glass

Developed garnet red with an orange rim; transparent with tertiary color reflections from bottle aging.

On the Nose

Ripe plum, cassis, and black cherry combined with secondary aromas of tobacco, leather, cedarwood, and balsamic. The bouquet shows the complexity of aged red wines.

On the Palate

Soft, fully integrated tannins; the acidity provides freshness. Harmonious and multifaceted – drinks excellently, but could age for several more years. The finish is long and complex.

Food Pairing

Roasted venison with mushroom sauce, beef fillet, aged hard cheese, grilled lamb rack.
