Overview

The EMPERUS Voždov ZLATNI Grumen Raspberry Liqueur is a Serbian raspberry liqueur from Emperus's ZLATNI premium line. The base material is the Serbian Vilamet raspberry – a robust, intensely aromatic native variety considered one of the highest quality raspberry varieties in Serbia. The liqueur combines intense fruit aroma with controlled sweetness at 25% ABV.

In the Glass

Rich ruby red to bright raspberry red – the natural color of the Vilamet raspberry dominates without added coloring. Medium viscosity; clear appearance with a fruity shimmer.

On the Nose

Intense, pure raspberry aroma – fresh Vilamet raspberry, raspberry jam, and a hint of raspberry sorbet. The varietal character of the Vilamet is evident in a slightly tart, wild fruit nuance that distinguishes the liqueur from industrial raspberry essences. A subtle floral note in the background.

On the Palate

Fruity-sweet with a lively acidity that balances the sweetness. The Vilamet fruit intensity remains present on the palate; no artificial flavor character. The finish is medium-short, fruity, and slightly tart with a hint of raspberry seed. The moderate alcohol (25% ABV) makes the liqueur approachable.

Serving Suggestion

Serve lightly chilled as a digestif or aperitif. On the rocks with a fresh mint leaf as a summer long drink. As a base for raspberry gin cocktails or fruit spritzers. Pairs well with dark chocolate, pavlova, and fresh berry desserts.

Origin

Serbia is one of Europe's leading raspberry-producing countries; the Vilamet variety is considered particularly aromatic and is primarily grown in the Zlatibor region and western Serbia. Emperus uses this quality variety as the basis for the ZLATNI raspberry bottling, emphasizing sourcing raw materials from national fruit cultivation.
