In the Glass

Deep ruby garnet; dense and opaque in the center, with violet reflections at the rim.

On the Nose

Blackcurrant, black cherry, and blackberry dominate. Characteristic Cabernet spice with green bell pepper, cedar, and pepper notes. Vanilla and toasted wood from barrel contact.

On the Palate

Structured and tannic, with the characteristic austerity of Cabernet. The acidity is lively and ensures aging potential. The finish is long and spicy, with a classic blackcurrant aftertaste.

Food Pairing

Ribeye steak, herb-crusted lamb, aged cheddar, venison goulash.

Origin

Traško is a modern Serbian winery that interprets international grape varieties in a Serbian context with its "Fabulous" line. Cabernet Sauvignon shows sufficient ripeness and structure in the continental regions of Serbia.
