Erdevik Ex Cathedra Sauvignon Blanc 2022 – a premium wine from Erdevik, Fruška Gora. Tasting Notes. The nose offers aromas of well-integrated oak with ample ripe nectarine, passion fruit, and citrus zest. Mineral and juicy on the palate, with fine freshness and depth. A focused, single-varietal Sauvignon Blanc aged for 10 months in 500 l French oak barrels (50% new, 50% used).

Erdevik Estate is located in the historic village of Erdevik in the Serbian Fruška Gora region – an area whose viticultural tradition dates back to the Roman Empire. The winery was founded in 1826 by Count Livio Odescalchi (family of Pope Innocent XI) and today combines Italian heritage with modern precision. Erdevik lies on the 45th parallel – the same line as Bordeaux, Burgundy, and the Willamette Valley. 64 ha of vines on loess and calcareous marl soils, cooled by the Danube. The only Serbian winery represented at all global James Suckling tastings.
