"Shiraz Reserve 2018" by Trivanović (Ivanović sphere) is a mature single-varietal Shiraz (Syrah) from the 2018 vintage. After several years of bottle aging, the wine has developed the depth and complexity characteristic of aged Syrahs.

Character & enjoyment

In the Glass

Developed garnet-deep ruby; intense color with emerging tertiary reflections.

On the Nose

Ripe black fruit — blackberry, cassis — combined with black pepper and liquorice (classic Syrah profile). Secondary notes of tobacco, leather, and balsamic show bottle aging.

On the Palate

Full-bodied with now soft, well-integrated tannins. The acidity provides freshness and length. Complex and multi-layered — the Reserve character and the 2018 maturity come together harmoniously. The finish is very long.

Food Pairing

Grilled lamb chop, wild duck, venison goulash, aged hard cheese, black olive paste.

Trivanović, Župa, Serbia. Shiraz/Syrah shows excellent maturity in Serbia with full tannins and intense spice; this is particularly evident in the Reserve bottling.
