Šapat Cuvée 2022 – single-vineyard blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, rated 93 points by James Suckling. The Cuvée combines the generosity of Merlot with the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. Šapat presented it alongside the Atila Chardonnay in New York and San Francisco. The New Europe Wine Guide describes it as a «mini Bordeaux» with a little more ripeness and generosity. Tasting notes. Deep ruby. On the nose, cedar, black berries with an accent on blackberry and blackcurrant, plus dried plum and eucalyptus. Full, extract-rich and concentrated on the palate, with soft tannins. Cocoa on the finish.

Most of its more than 12 ha of vineyards face south at 210–235 m, on a thin layer of black soil over deep, lime-rich loess. The estate deliberately stays small, works only with grapes from its own vineyards and bottles in limited series. The estate is also home to Fleur de Sel, Serbia's first Michelin-starred restaurant.
